Policies

By shopping with SML, the customer understands that they are purchasing a handmade item and by doing so, must allow for reasonable imperfections and/or uniqueness associated with the item, not compromising on its performance.

Shipping

Items that are "Ready-Made" will ship within 24-48 hours of purchase via USPS Priority Mail.

Items that are "Made-to-Order" require 1-3 weeks of production time prior to shipping via USPS Priority Mail.

Items are not shipped with insurance. SML is not responsible for items lost in the mail or not received due to incorrect address.

Returns & Exchanges

To return an item for a refund, or to request an item exchange, please contact customerservice@designbysml.com within 7 days of receiving the delivery.

To be eligible for a refund or exchange, the item must be unused and in the same condition that it was received. Item must be in the original packaging.

Return/exchange items must be received by SML within 7 days of return/exchange request. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

If return eligibility is met, SML will refund the cost of the item [plus/minus] original shipping charges within 72 hours of its arrival.

If exchange eligibility is met, SML will ship a replacement item within 48-72 hours of receiving the original item. If the item is made-to-order, the customer understands there will be an additional 1-3 weeks of production time prior to shipping. SML will charge additional shipping costs for the replacement item.

If return/exchange eligibility is not met, a refund/exchange will not be issued. For exchanges,

Sale items and custom orders are non-refundable.
